Portuguese Y Brazil loco

Yeah, so all of a sudden, I'm eating lunch on an interchange in a different city with my district leader and then the mission president calls me. He says I have to hurry and finish the interchange right away and get back to my pension.  So we run back to my pension and my companion has all his suitcases out and he´s almost done packing!

So the president tells me that I'm getting a new comp in one hour and to wait down at the door! So there was a change that happened in Vina and they sent my comp there. We had no idea that was going to happen!! My comp didn't even get time to say 'bye to anyone and he had 6 months in this area, and it was his first! He was so sad and nervous.

SO then they dropped the new companion off and we went out to work.  It was funny cause we had set up appointments the day before but I wasn't there- I was in a different city! So I had no idea what to do, haha.  Turns out my comp is SWEET. He totally is Brasileño, and  he learned Spanish in the mission just like me, and he's super new.  So he studies and has all his stuff in Portuguese! So imma be learnin Portuguese!  It's so terribly hard tho.  So the first lesson we had, we sat down with this guy that's 60 and has 8 kids! And we shared the restoration and I shared the first vision! it was genial. We teach GOOD, so I'm excited!! My comps named Elder CARVALHO (car-val-ee-o)
He's the first missionary in his family and lives in São Paulo Brazil.  He's got a ton of animo para trabajar aca.

So a huge beer truck lost its brakes and while it was flying down the hills in our area, it ran into the first barrier and it didn't stop it. So what the driver did was take a little right and then swung a huge left! and flipped it!

So send me some DearElders, I love um!!!
