SO
yesterday we had a sweet family night! with the family that i love the
most and they totally remind me of my own family in some ways.
So the older sister and her boyfriend (Victor, our investigator) taught
the family about the roles that everyone has in the family. So the mom started talkin about how she cares about the well-being of her kids. And
most of the time her kids give her a really really hard time. It
totally broke my heart.. and then anytime someone starts opening up
their heart, my comp just comes in and opens up his. So then my
comp starts sharing about how his mom died right before the mission...
and he was choking back all these tears. And he told her kids that ya
never know when your mom's not going to be there, and to do everything
you can right now for your mom, and how lucky they were to have such an
awesome mom. So my heart was broken in like a million places and I
totally shed some man tears.
I love experiences like this, to meet families and to teach them and to cry with them
.
I have so much more love for my family! I found out when you really
love someone, it's alot easier to teach them. I sometimes feel like I'd
do anything for these people.
So we had a cool experience with the zone of missionaries. So a new
missionary was having a hard time getting along with his companion, so
the zone leaders prepared a lesson for all of us on unity! I have such a
sweeet comp! The cool thing was when we finished, we all got on our
knees in the sacrament room and linked arms by putting arms over the
shoulders and we closed with a prayer! 'Twas awesome! It's cool as
missionaries to do stuff like that cause you don't even have to think
about who you're going to stand by or kneel by cause we're all friends
and we all just laugh with each other. There's like 25 missionaries in
the zone!
I always seem to find army suits or police suits!!
That crappy bus, it is the front of a Micro! It gets crammed with people
So, I love letters!!! Hint, Hint...
