Here's a picture of the fires that I wrote about last time...

 So, here's a story... this week we were getting no one to teach, which is super lame cause I'm training and it's the best time to teach! Anyways... so Saturday I'd have to admit I was super disanimated, cause no one wanted to talk to us. All of my contacts fell through and we were just walking around. Even the references we got from other missionaries, they didn't want to meet with us or anything, so I was walking down this trail that's called "Astaburuaga," and all of a sudden...

.....I see this guy yellin at his girlfriend. I'm pretty sure he had just found out that she cheated on him or something because he was MAD!  So I made the mistake of laughing.... so all of his anger at the moment was turned towards me! So he came after me- he came after me and picked up a huge stick. I didn't think he would actually come after me so I just stayed put.  He came swearing up a storm and the next thing I know is my face goes numb! I was stunned! The guy actually decked me right in the face! Crazy right??  I barely even moved. My comp had to hurry and take my arm and run with me. I didn't do anything!.....

I had various thoughts go through my head. I felt really bad, and more disanimated. I had to fight back the tears so my comp didn't see! My face didn't hurt until a good while afterwards but I was holding back tears of discouragement. They were much harder to hold back than pain.  Krazy right?? I remember talking to some 'futures' that we still had and I just couldn't even talk to um.  It was seriously a HUGE challenge! I ended up talkin to my leaders that night and Elder Stone really helped me out. He was just like, "you've gone through so much junk, and you just keep going." He's helped me so much this change-he´s just been my best friend. 

Well, I loved conference and I got Andres (the future missionary I talked about last week) to go and take notes! 

Mission Accomplished!!
