Hey this week was nuts, so I'm in this run down Cyber place to do internet and I'm listening to worldly music!! I feel so sinful and I remember the talk "stand in holy places"

So in my ward we have consejo de barrio every day after church and its where the leaders of the ward get together and discuss the ward. So we have to attend and it feels good to be in there! I'm only nineteen and I pull so much weight it feels like. So my companion proposed the idea to have a movie night and to bring investigators. Haha but my bishop never likes my companions ideas and I didn't really like it either... well, it's just that he wanted to watch "The Testaments", it's a good movie but its sooo lame in Spanish and we´ve all seen it a million times.
So my bishop was all like ´´Lets watch Avatar´´ haha so I guess we are doing that. So in this mission we get assigned to a ward and we basically baby the ward and teach all the menos activos and I feel like a home teacher sometimes. I'd be such a boss home teacher right now! So how does my area look like? ha from the pictures? So I took a picture of a dog eating what looked like a human spine! I so would not be surprised.
So my ´´dad´´ in the mission is in Illapel and he's a Zone leader and the first counselor in the bishopric. So it seems like this week something happened in America and all the Chileans were watching the news, cause everyone we tried to talk to automatically hated me cause I was American! haha and my companion, too, cause he looks like a gringo. They say all that Americans do is kill and hurt people and get into other people's business. My companion gets really mad I think, I'm pretty sure he doesn't like North Americans either, ha but what's not to like about us?

So I did interchanges with my zone leader Elder Zitting! He totally comes from the FLDS church! He has 46 brothers and sisters, He said they believe in the Book of Mormon and he was like bearing his testimony about it when he was a little kid! NUTs!!, but anyways we were walking through the garbage field one day and we saw this person way off in the distance and we were both like 'We have To Talk To Her!' ha So we ran out and she was pushin a stroller of food from the feria, she was like 20 years old so we were scared to talk to her (haha) but we did and we found out that her dad is dying the hospital and she wants us to go by and see um all and teach um! she totally already had a Book of Mormon, we only give out like 4 a week! seriously everyone has one.
Write to me soon! I love the letters and emails...
Elder Goodell
