Hey, this week was so hawt I had to put my pants in the freezer! *(doesn't work that good..)Hey, congrats to my brother,Sean that graduated from college!
Okay, so this week I came across some interesting people.. One guy that let us in his house only wanted to fight with us. We tried to leave but he seriously wouldn't let us. So my companion was just like "hey companion practice your Spanish skills and your bible-cutting scriptures" Ha! it was so funny, he doesn't want to go to our church cause we "don't believe in the bible." So we opened up the bible and showed him how the bible like prepares the way for the book of Mormon! and how they go hand in hand with each other! I explained so simply about the great apostasy and how Christ's church fell after he and his apostles died, and that the church had to be restored! haha so I asked him if he was going to accept our message in the next life. He totally said "yeah!" So I started to walk away and he started yelling this memorized prayer at us, and saying for God to have mercy on my soul because we don't believe in the bible! haha- it was so nuts, so yeah anyways I am reading the New Testament! I forgot how powerful the bible is! It's got some power scriptures that could easily outline lesson one for me.
So this week I saw just how much damage not reading the Book of Mormon does to families. I'm going to have my family read the Book of Mormon every single day! I love Alma 37:7, I think it's that one, it just says.. hey, all I ask is for you to do this tiny thing! read, pray and go to church, and you will see miracles. But if not you won't have the spirit and you'll be a pile of poo, that's literally what I tell people. haha
So I'm still living in the ''ann franks'' house and I'm loving it more. I totally went to the gym today! Imma have to take a picture of it because all it is is like a long hallway with just as much equipment as you could possibly fit in one spot. It's amazing what they do with the little spaces they have here. People's yards have kitchen tile because it's just sunny all year! crazy right?
Oh so I gotta tell you about the Gypsy we found! He's awesome! The other day he was showing us how to make copper bracelets! He like has a tent and sits on a rug all day! He tells us everyday that Jesus is going to come and save all the gypsies first and then the Mormon's second! He also shouts "amen" during my prayers! haha it's just like ya see on tv. But he came to church late and was with another ward so we didn't really get to see um. I'm kinda losing hope on baptizing him though.
We are still teaching Hermana Charo, but she likes to go out and party and smoke ciggaros. So basically I can't understand most of what she says because its just all slang. And then when I talk and use good Spanish, she doesn't understand me.
Okay so I learned that my companion is going home this change! again I'm with a ''dying" companion! It's really annoying, I'm cursed. haha.. but it's all good.
So I changed my diet! haha All I bought was like no flavor fiber cereal and fruit! haha I just needa eat healthy so I can survive, I was buying like pure candy. My body was dying... haha.
