en tu vida te faltas algo...November 22, 2011

A total shout out to ma boi's Mike Eddington and Sam Pedro! Good luck on your missions! Now I'm just waiting for Trevan! yeah!

So I'm totally disappointed- I haven't got any wedding invites.. someone has to send me one!

Okay so seriously everything cool happens the day before I do email, so I get all stoked about telling you all what just happened that I forget about my week!  So I totally had a noche de talentos and me and my companions Wrote a Rap! haha a regatone rap. I Video'ed the whole thing, I totally was on stage busting rhythms about goin on a mission In spanish.  I wore like a huge grey hoody and a huge clock around my neck!!

This week we set up a service project for the whole Zone. We cleaned up this house that burned down.  It's like a normal thing for your house to burn down here in Chile.  So we were covered in soot and ash, and I got a sun burn so gnarly it was purple (I cant even do up my top button on my shirt cause it stings so bad)

This week was just so nuts because My companion left for his house! He had served his full two years and his last companion was me.  I can now say I've been all over my mission.  We went all over to see the people that he baptized and the people he promised he'd come back to. We spent 40 bucks on travel.  It was so awesome to see how much the people loved Elder Anaya.  I even went to my last area and saw my old friends too! I just can't even tell you how cool it was, it was like going back to a home you left. SO anyways I'm staying in my area and a new Kid is coming to be my companion.  He's actually waiting for me right now.  Last night I got a ride home from the 2 assistants to the President of the mission! They're like celebrities of the mission.  I was all alone so they had to transfer me.  They just like lifted me up and gave me mas animo para servir en la obra missional.  This week we had a huge party for Elder Anaya and we went to this mansion! It seriously put the word "mansion" to shame.  We had a testimony meeting for like 10 min and then Ate all the food you could possibly eat for like 2 hours.  Everyone in the house could speak English, except they couldn't understand me because they can't understand my slang.  ''jaja''

So where I live there is a rule- we can't talk English! It gets really lonely to not talk your born language.... so after this next change Elder Jimenez is going to leave for home, so all everyone talks about is going home and really annoying things, so it's a really big struggle for me.  Mom! you'd be so proud of me! I totally washed all of my clothes in a bathtub and ironed um all.  I sewed my clothes and now I'm learning how do soder.. haha just so many things you can do in the mission!!  Did I ever tell you that in Chile for sacrament meeting in the church everyone- before it starts- just like walks around to everyone and does the cheek kiss thing and shakes hands. It makes everyone so much more unified. Imma start doin that when I get back (the cheek kiss thing) it was a pretty big culture shock seeing that, especially when the bishop of the ward kisses the young women. ''jaja'' it's really weird.

Okay so I went to the President of the missions House in Viña. It was seriously like a palace.  It was fit for a king, so I have a picture of me trying to steal his TV!!
