So the fist pictures are with my family Pinochet in a Family home evening with the bishops family! We did this game where we tied shoe laces to them and told um to escape from each other. There's only one way to escape and it's really tricky, so we showed um at the end, but it was a lesson on prophets and how we need them to guide us and to interpret the scriptures.
So this week we taught the Palabra de sabiduria a la familia Pinochet! We had such a good lesson and they committed to change some things. My companion was just like, do you know that you're a living example of what your kids are going to be when they grow up? The mom really likes when we help the dad with his parenting and the girls to obey their parents.
So the family I committed to get married is getting married in April! and I probably won't be here for it! darn. So I saw Elder Beck, one of my favorite Elders in the mission, give his last testimonio! He´s totally going home. I gotta start making friends with the younger missionaries!
So one of the elders that I live with right now never gets up on time. So this morning I walked downstairs and turned on the light and threw his blanket off! haha Yeah, he got really mad and yelled and I sprinted downstairs! haha
So in the conference the president told us that we no longer can speak English, so yeah my English is so baddd.
So this week was full of meetings! We had the big conference with the interior of the mission! We had a scripture chase and all these practices, I sweated so much I had to shower after! It was intense!
Oh and they gave us flu shots! randomly! I've never gotten one in my life.
So yeah my mission is getting a new president! He´s from Argentina! crazy right? so we have a new assignment that we have to talk to people in the street about finding their ancestros and doing genealogy work.

SO one of my investigadora , told us she is scared to get an answer if the Book of Mormon was true. What would you say to that?

Well this week was just dandy! On the way over to this little internet shack, we took a micro (a bus) so they're just as gnarly as a roller coaster! I used to try to write in my journal when we took um, but I gave up cause it's just too intense! SO, I look over and this girl is doing her eyelashes. Now one of the tradiciones in Chile is that the women do their eyelashes with a SPOON! Like totally a spoon you eat with! haha it was the crazyest thing! Today was the first time I actually saw it, so I guess I have to believe all the rumors...
steak and if you stare at it and eat the chips it's just like being at a barbeque and roasting steak, (I'm going crazy!)
So this week was pretty awesome, we finally got El Hermano Pinochet to come to church and he stayed for all the classes! so in the class of elders, the teacher just started using an example about authority and how a person couldn't just go pick up a policeman's uniform and just start arresting people, then they started joking about police cause the men always just joke around and the jokes go too far and it's awkward. so El Hermano Pinochet is totally a police officer! haha So it was so Awkward and I just sat in the Awkwardness... But El Hermano didn't care and so we laughed about it after.
So I did an interchange with my district leader Elder Gasik! He's from Sandy, Utah and has the coolest accent. We knocked doors all day and talked to everyone and didn't get in to anyone's house! I felt defeated. SO I feel like if I talk English all day my Spanish gets better! A zone leader once told me that, kinda weird to know 2 languages.
Okay so last night we got done teaching a family, we set baptism dates with all of them, except the mom (cause we found out she is a member) we had a kneeling prayer with the whole family. The dad said it and the daughter was crying, up until the dad closed with a prayer. It would be a hard thing to learn a whole new religion,,,, so we ran from their house a mile north to another family's and I was sweating and dying and we walk in and their whole family was waiting for us!! It was a miracle!! This family hasn't gone to church in 6 years!! It's a family of 3 daughters around my age (I was scared!) So me and my comp just have this unity together that we can get everyone laughing no matter the situation! We just make fun of each other and we just have the same skill I think.
So the other day when I was with Elder Gasik, I was the leader and I decided what we did. So we went to see a recent convert who's like really timid and shy. We start and we're like, ¿hey do you have any questions from reading the Book of Mormon? ha and she's all like yes, what's denying the Holy Ghost? and I thought to myself, mmmm.... should I answer this question? So I did, it was the first time I've had to explain that to someone, I explained it dang good too!
Hey I got a question: Enos, in the Book of Mormon, was he a bad member in the beginning of his life? Why did his soul have hunger?
so I would love some letters!
