Hey, I'm so stoked for Trevan Webster and Derrrik Pain! Got their mission calls!

My comp Elder Esparsa is the one on the right!

I got a new companion- Elder Esparza! He's so cool! He's really old in the mission and was in my first zone when I came on the mission! He's from the south of Chile and has a scripture for everything. So I'm learning alot about the scriptures! We both work really well together and we're on the same page! Same goals and same animo! I showed him around my whole area and he got to know all the members! and they all love him cause he's Chilean! It's really weird to be with a Chilean comp cause they do every single thing different! We teach so differently now too. He's really straight forward and might seem mean sometimes! haha.. we've already got a million inside jokes, so Natalie Hayes if you're reading this... my comp totally wants to date you after the mission, (so he can learn English!!)

So I teach my companion what's cool to say in English! So we can talk in code at church or in lecciones. He's alot smarter than me and I feel dumb alot! It's really weird.

Okay so yesterday was like the best Sunday I've had in my whole mission! We just talked to everyone and set times to go meet everyone! and out of the blue these two girls walk up to us and one of them just returned from a mission and she says "Hey Elders, I have a reference of gold for you! and it was the girl that was standing by her, and I totally passed them the sacrament and didn't think anything of it! Anyways, so we went to her house the day of, and we had to bring our famous "Carlitos" a kid in the ward who's just famous.  We had to bring him because we can't enter into a house if there is no male.  So there's like a bunch of women in this house and we go in and we taught her about Jose Smith and the Book of Mormon and baptism! But I was nervous when I recited the first vision! haha I was so embarrassed. I'm used to teaching older people! She was scary! So my comp made fun of me forever and asked how I even have a girl friend back at home!! Que verguenza.  But we are totally going to baptize this girl.

So there's a dog that's in the church every Sunday! & no one cares!!

 The other day tambien, it started out a normal day with the normal small miracles but then I kept seeing more! Like when we approached a locked door to an apartment place and we know it's locked but we just go anyways and we walk until someone we know or someone that knows us will open the gate. Our paths are seriously guided, all we do is just "go!" I found out all you have to do for the spirit to work through you is just to Be There.  So I love just throwing myself into situations where I have no idea what to do, all that matters is that you're there.


 

So my ward is doing alot better! I feel like the missionaries are the life blood of a ward here! It all depends on us! 

So... the biggest question in all of the world,  "why do bad things happen the good people, who don't smoke or drink or steal? while the bad people who do all those things have so much?"
...anybody know?    HINT:  it's in the Book of Mormon!

 I have become one with the fleas and the flies and there are alot of ants, too! and they look different! They have huge antenna things and they fall from the trees so I have um all over me.
