This week was legit! I think I found the family that I will be able to see go through the temple in 1 year! We found them last night! Waldo is the only member in his family and he really needed the missionaries to teach his family. We like gave him new hope, he seriously started crying and hugged us... he had a dinomite testimony and his wife was like whoa! I had no idea! So we committed her to be baptized! They have 2 kids that are like the most adorable kids ever haha 'twas "tan genial"
Hey dad! my navigational skills rock! did I tell you? the only way I get around are on sketchy buses and taxi´s and trains! it's definitely scary sometimes.SO my companion, Elder Fowler, seriously knocks peoples doors and we do a small contact and they're usually like "no I don't like you guys" and then he's just like "hey can you get me a glass of water?" and Chileans can't say no! haha but I get mad because they always make me drink it to! and sometimes it's like this shack house and really dirty and it's like warm water! Imagine that!!
So we do tours of the church! I stand outside across the street from my companion and I have to talk to people by myself! haha it always goes so funny. They other day I said hello to this scantally dressed girl my age (just said hi, because it wouldn't be appropriate for us to give her a tour) ha so I said hi and she stops... so I'm like oh no! and I panicked so I told her about what we were doing and then boom! a huge group of her friends came over and they tried to give me the kiss cheek thing! I was chicken so I didn't do it haha, I just laughed cause that's what I do when I'm scared. And then that same day this old grandma totally climbed up me and kissed my cheek! I was just irresistible that day!
so I'm out here blazin' in the sun for Christmas! I'm so jealous of you all (but not really...)
