so this week we totally baptized a girl that looked just like Rebecca Black! the girl that sings "Friday!"
yeah, so this week the President of Chile totally came to Valpo and
he came like 2 blocks from my house! They closed off everything and
prepared themselves for like a massive break-out attack of civil unrest.
They had full armor police guys, it was nuts!!
SO yesterday we were
teaching at this guys house, and my companion-he's so awesome and so in
tune with the spirit-that we were getting ready to go and we were going
to cut it short (so he would have interest for the next visit.) When
all of sudden my comp whispers to me, "hey, we have to stay, I can't
leave." I was just like WHat? let's go! haha-turned out to be the most
spiritual lesson that we have had together!! We committed this guy to
be baptized and everything worked out. It was a testimony builder for
me... So my companion's specialty is promising people. His promises
always are so bold and catch me off guard. He promises people that
they'll receive answers like the day of. He promises so hard and it
always comes true!! it's pretty amazing. So I'm learning how to deal
with people, ha I
figured out I have a really high level of patience.
And being in Valpo
sometimes you just gotta put your head down and just walk like a boss up
all these hills.
