So i finally started working out my abs cause my whole district is into p90x. haha werido´s. So im currently crunched over and cant do much with my body right now.
So my maestro hermano Stirgill goes on and on with stories from his mission. So one really crazy one- So one time in Juarez Mexico he was helping with a baptism, and they were bearing their testimony after the baptism and then people marched into the room with guns and started yelling for everyone to give them their cameras and valuables, then they left and they just continued on with the ceremony! crazy right? like it happens all the time. So I know a lot about Ecuador, to, from hermano Twiggs, my other teacher. He can't keep in touch with anyone he taught down there because there´s no mail, so sad. Chile just seems like paradise from those two countries! I'm pretty stoked but so not ready- I'm just ready to get outta the MTC. So an Elder in my district went home last week, It really punched a hole in our spirits. We are slowly gettin over it.
So miracles happen every day here- just little ones that just hit us so hard, it's like an everyday thing here, and it keeps us all really pumped to go call our brothers and sisters to repentance and guide them to be closer to Jesus Christ. Imma come back from Chile speakin so fast no one will understand me! There was this one girl who I talked to on face book one time, I remember. She told me she wanted to be Christian but didn't know where to go for the truth, so I told her I was LDS and talked a little about it, and she told me she didn't think we believed in Christ. ¿thechurchofJesusChrist, didn't believe in Jesus Christ??? weird. She had heard all the missionary lessons and such and I just think about her all the time what I should have said to her? I have pretended to be her a ton of times when we practice being investigators and.. and.. and.... How can I get her to come closer to Christ? Her name was Daisy and she speaks Español. I desire what my Father in Heaven desires and that's bringing souls into Salvation. It's God's glory and His work. I think nothing is more rewarding or gives you and everyone around you more happiness than when you're doing this work.
Next email and I'll probably be telling you how crazy a trip to Chile I had. But for now imma go pack my bags!!!
